Postmortem - What happened: Alt AI was down for almost 24 hours and it was due to some intruders, they somehow accessed the backend by using a security flaw and attacking for no reason is not justified at all. Fix implemented: Messages will be send from frontend to backend sever than to our main server. We have now moved all the core elements to backend to improve security, before it used to send messages directly to our main server and that was the main issue for security that led hackers to get into the server easily. Outcome: This fix implementation will improve the security by 10 times but at cost of effecting response time. Response time can be affected by -10% but its like a delay of 1.2 seconds but this implementation is important for our's & user's security. Deep model has been removed as it don't support our new implementation well and replaced by Flash Model a better reasoning model and fast response too. _We regret any inconvience caused as we know most of you use Alt AI regularly. No data fraud was detected and all data is secure._.
